Led by Matt and Noelle and supported by volunteers from across the community, Road Ahead Academy brings together people with diverse careers, experiences, skills, and backgrounds who share a common goal: helping young people see what is possible for their future.
From educators and business professionals to tradespeople, military members, first responders, mentors, church volunteers, and community leaders, Road Ahead Academy volunteers help students connect career exploration with real-world experience.
Matt and Noelle believe career discovery should feel hopeful, practical, personal, and free from labels. The goal is not to choose a path for a young person, but to help them recognize their strengths, explore opportunities, meet people who can broaden their perspective, and take meaningful next steps with confidence.
Whether the road ahead includes an apprenticeship, certification, military service, college, entrepreneurship, or entering the workforce, there is more than one way to build a meaningful future.

My name is Matt Miller
Matt leads the vision, direction, and career development strategy behind Road Ahead Academy. He focuses on creating practical experiences that help young people recognize their strengths, explore realistic career pathways, and build the confidence and skills needed to move forward with purpose.
Drawing from his professional, military, leadership, and mentoring experience, Matt helps shape Road Ahead Academy’s assessments, workshops, career-readiness tools, and community partnerships. His focus is on turning career exploration into something personal and actionable—giving young people exposure to real opportunities and helping them understand that there is more than one meaningful path to a successful future.
Matt works closely with Noelle to ensure the organization’s mission is reflected in every program, event, and resource: helping young people discover what they bring to the table, see what is possible, and take the next step forward.

My name is Noelle Miller
Noelle helps turn the vision of Road Ahead Academy into action, bringing together the people, systems, and coordination needed to create meaningful experiences for young people. She works alongside Matt to shape programs, events, volunteer engagement, and community partnerships while helping ensure the organization remains organized, thoughtful, and focused on the people it serves.
Drawing from her military, leadership, and wellness experience, Noelle brings a strong understanding of how to care for people, guide teams, and recognize potential beyond what may be visible on the surface. Her approach is both practical and holistic, helping create environments where people feel supported, encouraged, and equipped to grow.
At Road Ahead Academy, Noelle helps ensure the mission is reflected not only in the organization’s vision, but in how programs are carried out and how people are cared for along the way. Her focus is on creating opportunities for young people to recognize their strengths, build confidence, and see more possibility in the road ahead.
